# $STREET and share claims

What the token buys, what a claim is, and the boundary between the game and anything real.

{% hint style="warning" %}
**The honest sentence, and the only one we use:** play earns claims, and a licensed partner settles the eligible ones. The game does not promise a stock, a yield or a return, and it does not hold anybody's securities. Nothing here is investment advice.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Two things to be clear about before you read further.**

**$STREET is not listed yet.** It is an SPL token on **Solana**, and the mint does not exist. Until a contract address is published there is nothing to buy, and anybody offering you one is not us.

**No stock is earnable today.** Every claim settles as **cash**, at the published rate. The stock rail is built but cannot fill — see [what a claim settles into](#what-a-claim-settles-into-today).
{% endhint %}

## Two rails, separate on purpose

One moves value **in**, one moves value **out**, and **both currently ship disarmed** — see the investor section of this site for exactly what has to be true before either is armed.

### Rail 1 — cash → $STREET

$STREET is an **SPL token on Solana**, and **Phantom** is both the wallet and how you sign in.

**The mint does not exist yet.** No contract address has been published, the mainnet switch is off, and with no mint configured the game runs on credits alone. The treasury's key is a Worker secret and never a file in the repository.

An earlier build settled on Robinhood Chain through MetaMask. That is gone: one chain, Solana, one wallet, Phantom. The pool is player-funded, and when it cannot cover a withdrawal you get the honest answer — *check back later* — rather than a queue or a promise.

**The game never asks for a seed phrase or a private key.** Wallet interaction is a signature over a login string and nothing else. Anyone asking you for more is not us.

### Rail 2 — play → SHARE CLAIM → cash today, stock later

A claim only ever comes from a **validated outcome the server computed**, never from anything a client said.

| Source                                              | Points per $100 |
| --------------------------------------------------- | --------------- |
| Realised P\&L on a closed position                  | 10              |
| A corner that settled                               | 12              |
| **A call-out on the kerb**                          | 12              |
| A pit round's pot                                   | 14              |
| Placing at the bell                                 | 16              |
| Placing on **THE OPEN** ladder, which has no buy-in | 20 |
| An act of the campaign, once each | 25 |

The open ladder pays the most and costs nothing to enter. That is deliberate. The kerb prices under the ring because it is two men rather than eight: a smaller pot to draw from and lower variance.

Six of the seven are zero-sum — somebody was on the other side, or the fee flow came out of a venue's take. **The campaign act is the one exception and is documented as one:** it is a faucet, allowed only because an act completes once and there is a fixed small number of them, so the lifetime total is bounded before you start. It cannot be farmed, only finished.

## THE CLAIMS DESK

Press `F`. It shows what each claim is worth, where it stands, how long until it comes off hold, what ticker it would settle into, and the one thing in the way — link a wallet, clear the identity check, be somewhere it is offered.

Three things it states rather than implies:

* **The game does not settle anything.** It records what was earned. The venue settles it and owns the identity check.
* **Nothing is earned by time.** Every claim names its source on the row, because a claim comes out of a validated outcome that took money from somebody else.
* **A claim can always be turned into cash**, at a fixed published rate shown on the button before you press it.

## The gates, and why nothing strands

A 24-hour hold before a claim can be claimed. A daily cap of 400 points per account, however good you are. A pre-funded budget that stops rather than borrows. Eligibility answered by the venue and never assumed. Thirty days before an unclaimed claim goes stale.

A claim too small to be worth a settlement's paperwork, or one the venue will not take, converts to in-game cash at a published rate. **No claim is ever stuck.**

## THE REAL BOARD

Two boards, and which one you are looking at depends on what the operator has published.

### The street's own board

When no settlement allowlist is published, the board lists **the floor's own invented names**. A claim off hold settles into tokenized shares of a listed name at the floor's mark; they move with the tape and sell back for cash whenever you like. Nothing there is a security, so it asks for **no wallet and no identity check**, and nothing leaves the game.

### The published board — AAPL, MSFT, NVDA

Three real names are published on the settlement allowlist, so the desk runs in venue mode: eligibility is the venue's answer — a wallet linked, the identity check cleared, somewhere it is offered — and a stale answer is a refusal.

## What a claim settles into today

**Cash. Every time.** Not because something went wrong, but because the rail that would deliver a stock cannot currently reach a wallet:

* The stock fills were built against a decentralised exchange on the **old chain**. $STREET and identity moved to **Solana**, and the Solana pools for those names do not exist yet.
* A Solana wallet cannot take an fill built for the old chain, so the desk refuses it and converts — *stock-token fills are cash until Solana pools are wired*.
* The fill path is switched off in the deployed build regardless, so even an old-chain wallet would take the cash path.

So the honest sentence for right now is shorter than the one above: **play earns claims, and a claim becomes cash at a published rate shown on the button before you press it.** If that changes — if pools exist and the rail is armed — the desk will say so, and this page will.

{% hint style="info" %}
When the stock rail does fill, what it delivers is a **tokenized stock token that trades 24/7 on a decentralised exchange — not a NYSE share**. The contracts are pinned to official addresses so a same-ticker lookalike is refused, the swap is quoted before it runs with a 1% slippage ceiling, and any failure ends in cash.
{% endhint %}

The desk decides which board you are on, and whether it can fill. You never do.

## Settlement preference

You can rank up to five names from the published allowlist — today that is AAPL, MSFT and NVDA — and the first one that can be filled is the one you get. Order is the whole expression: no weighting, no split, no basket, because each of those would be an instruction about how to allocate money, and this game does not give those.

A name can be on the list and unfillable today. `null` — no overlap, nothing available — is a normal answer and means the cash fallback. Where no list is published at all, the desk says so instead of offering a choice that does not exist.

## What $STREET buys — once it exists

A capped exchange seat, buy-ins at bigger pit tables, spectator action from the rim, capital, property, backing another player's career, and a season.

**It never buys power.** And until the mint is published, it buys nothing at all, because there is nothing to hold.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://reverie.gitbook.io/wall-usdstreet-on-rh/street-and-claims.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
